I don't like this option, as it seems unnecessarily slow and I hate degrading the RAID array by removing HDDs. Then remove old 4TB HDDs and wait for RAID to adjust. Then add new 8TB HDDs to the array, wait for RAID to adjust. Move/add/remove HDDs: Move existing 4TB HDDs to new NAS, use Synology migration tool to adapt to the 1819+.
