The data instrument was in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire which consisted of the aspects of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation. The research sample consisted of 75 people. The research method used was descriptive correlational method. The research objective is to foster student learning activities through the TIE (Translation, Interpretation, Extrapolation) method. To conclude, we declare a winner and loser among the browsers we tested. We also used HiView3 to analyze and present the results obtained in the web browsers testing. In the last we present the program for the analysis and data processing HiView3. The tests reveal how strong the support is and how fast the browsers implement individual standards. We also recognize the importance of web standards through latest browser tests for their web standards support. We evaluate their safety and the level of support to web page developers. Further we test browsers from a user point of view. At first we take a look at how they are distributed and continue with their performance, especially their speed in page loading and usage of memory. The main aim of diploma is comparison and testing of five most-used browsers in the world and in Slovenia. This diploma shows how important are web standards and how different browsers implement them differently or even.
